According to Greater Louisville FLEX MLS, the marketplace for Greater
Louisville, KY Single Family homes, in the month of May, 2020

  1. The Number of Active Single Family Homes available INCREASED by
    5%,month over month from April, 2020 to May, 2020 w/ 2720 coming
    available in May, compared to 2,579 coming available in May, 2020
    The Number of Active Single Family Homes hitting the market in May,
    2020, DECREASED by a whopping 19%, Year over Year from May, 2020,
    compared to May, 2019, with 2720 homes hitting the market in
    Louisville Metro May, 2020 compared to 3,339 that hit the market in
    May, 2019
  2. The Number of Pending Single Family homes to go under newly
    accepted contract INCREASED by 15% month over month from April,
    2020 to May, 2020 w/ 975 Single Family homes under new contract,
    pending close in May, 2020 compared to 850 under new contract,
    pending close in April, 2020
  • Compared to 2019, Year Over-Year, The Number of Single Family Homes
    to go under newly Pending contract in May, 2020, DECREASED by 8%,
    Year over Year with 975 homes going Pending in Louisville Metro May,
    2020 compared to 1063 that went under contract Pending close in May,
    2019

    Jefferson County, KY Decreased by 3% month-over-month from April,
    2020 to May, 2020 with 797 Closed Home sales in April, 2020 and 772
    Closed Sales in May, 2020
  • Comparing Year over Year, May, 2020 to May, 2019, the number of Sold
    Closed Homes Decreased by 27%, from 1056 total Sold last May, 2019
    to 772 Sold in May, 2020
  1. The Average Sales Price Increased by 5% Month-over-month from
    April, 2020 to May, 2020 with an average Sold price of $240,493 in April,
    2020 and an average Sold price of $252,088 in May, 2020.
  • Compared Year over year, May, 2019 to May 2020, the average Sold price
    in Louisville, KY is only up 1% with average home Sold price in May,
    2019 at $249,976 and average Sold price in May, 2020 at $252,088.
